I recently ordered the Synchro Cutter from Credo Humidifiers.com. They replied that the cutter was being drop-shipped from the manufacturer as the Credo webstore was out of them.
I placed my order on the afternoon of March 1st, and the package was waiting for me in the morning on March 7th. Not bad at all!
As for the cutter: It's a substantial chromed metal tool, not too large or heavy to carry in your pocket if you wish. A black leather sheath is included.
The cutter resembles Credo's inexpensive resin cutters (which are also fine cutters), but in addition to being made of steel, the Synchro has a set of tiny gears inside which make sure the blades close with equal pressure and at the same time, insuring an even, perfect cut (and thus the name, Synchro). It works!
This is an elegant, simple but effective tool which makes my cigar cutting easier, and which works equally well on parejos and figurados. I've no regrets about this purchase at all.
