Use Credo Special Care Solution to ensure the proper periodic maintenance of all Credo humidifiers. Credo humidifiers are delivered ready for use and need only have distilled water added. The Credo Special Care Solution ensures their periodic and proper maintenance. Refill your Credo humidifier approximately every 3 weeks exclusively with distilled water. On the sixth month, recharge by adding only the Credo Special Solution. The following month, go back to adding only distilled water.

What is 'Special Solution' and how often should it be added?
It's a solution of 50 percent water, 50 percent propylene glycol and is used in most oasis foam humidifiers. Oasis foam humidification device should be recharged with PG solution every three to six months. You definitely don't need to use the solution every time you fill your humidification device, but you shouldn't wait longer than six months before adding it.
Note: While special solution is used in most oasis foam devices, some humidifiers, such as electronic units by Cigar Oasis, use only distilled water. Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions on whether it should be added or not.
